ETG Treatment

ElectroTricoGenesis (ETG) is a non-drug, non-surgical, medical option for those seeking a clinically proven response to excessive hair loss.

ElectroTrichoGenesis (ETG) involves the non-invasive stimulation of hair follicles on the scalp by the positive influence of an electrostatic field. The energies of phototherapy and electrotherapy create no undesirable side effects and have been used for over a century.

Medical researchers have discovered that certain electrical frequencies stimulate healing responses in various parts of the body including soft-tissue repair and bone healing. Current Technology Corporation applied this research to the development of a treatment for common baldness called ETG treatment.

In the case of hair follicle cells, it is thought that these become dormant due to blockage of the microscopic pores on the cell surface. While the process is not fully understood it appears that when these cells are stimulated repetitively by a pulsed energy of the correct intensity and frequency they can be `kick- started` into proper functioning once again.

ETG inhibits excessive hair loss...   and in many cases, promotes regrowth. Based on the experience of medical and biophysical experts on our development team an optimal program consists of two 20-minute sessions per week initially and is revised as per personal requirements.

We have had hundreds of satisfied customers. Individual results may vary but see below for what some have experienced through our treatments.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will I know if ETG Treatment will work for me?

In order to ensure that ETG Treatment is appropriate to your specific situation, your ETG
Treatment Center will ask you to complete a short questionnaire. Because there are many
possible causes of excessive hair loss, questions regarding your health and history of balding will be asked. Results of the questionnaire will be reviewed with you. If you are a suitable candidate, a treatment schedule will be recommended and costs will be discussed.

What does ETG Treatment involve?

During each 12-minute ETG Treatment session, you will recline on a comfortable ergonomically designed chair with a semi-spherical hood. Nothing will touch your scalp or body.

How effective is ETG Treatment?

Clinical studies over the years have verified independently the efficacy of ETG. Your ETG
Treatment Center has copies of published studies that report that the majority of ETG clients experience no further excessive hair loss, with many exhibiting regrowth.

What about safety and side effects?

In all clinical studies, ETG Treatment was shown to be extremely safe with no side effects.

How many treatments will I require?

There is no permanent "cure" for baldness. For clients seeking long-term benefits, our research has shown that ongoing treatment is required to achieve excessive hair loss stability and/or future regrowth. Weekly treatments are usually recommended. (Additional treatments each week have not been found to be more beneficial.)

When will I see results?

Results will vary from client to client depending on a number of factors. Studies have shown that many individuals notice decreased hair loss as early as four to six weeks. However, it is quite common for individuals to require a longer period before results are visible.

What will happen if I stop my ETG Treatment?

In all likelihood, you will lose the new hair in a matter of months. In addition, the balding process will probably be triggered again, and shedding will resume.

How does ETG compare to topical minoxidil?

Minoxidil is the topical medication for excessive hair loss currently available to the public. While minoxidil requires two daily applications, ETG Treatment does not involve any direct application of chemical agents to the scalp and exhibits no side effects. There are, however, no clinical studies to date comparing the two responses to excessive hair loss.
